Born 1964 in Lindau.

Studied art history at the Ludwig-Maximilian University Munich from 1984-1987, at the New School for Social Research, New York from 1987-1988, and at the Free University (FU) Berlin in 1989.

1994-1995 teaching position at the Technical University in Vienna.

Curatorial projects since 1991: documenta X – co-conception and organization of the education program (1997); Galerie for zeitgenössische Kunst, Leipzig – guest curator (1998); Berlin Berlinale – responsible for special exhibitions (1998); Artcidade 3, Sao Paolo and Berlin (1999).
