Terézia Mora

Born 1971 in Sopron (Hungary).

She studied dramatics and Hungarian literature and language at the Humboldt University in Berlin. Diploma in screenwriting at the German Film and Television Academy. She works as a writer and translator.

Selected works: “Seltsame Materie” (book, 1999), “Sowas in der Art” (theater play, premiere May 2003), translation of Péter Esterházy’s “Produktionsroman” and numerous short stories. Currently. she is working on her novel “Alle Tage”.

Winner of the Ingeborg-Bachmann-Prize (1999) and of the Adelbert-von-Chamisso award for emerging artists (2000).
