Teresa Solar Abboud

Born 1985 in Madrid/Spain.

Teresa Solar Abboud lives and works in Madrid/Spain. Amongst other projects, she has exhibited as a solo artist at La Panera, Lleida/Spain; Matadero, Madrid; CA2M (Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo), Madrid and Galeria Formato Cómodo, Madrid. She was a finalist of the Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts Initiative and has recently been awarded the »Generaciones« prize. Teresa Solar Abboud has also received the Production Grant CAM, and the Production Grant of the Fundación Marcelino Botín, which enabled her to produce her latest movie Al haggara that has been shot between Cairo/Egypt and Madrid.

Teresa Solar Abboud is a fellow in cooperation with Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart (ABK).
