Teodor Dună

Born 1981 in Buftea/Romania.

Teodor Dună studied literature at the University of Bucharest (BA 2004, MA 2005). His BA graduation thesis was on »The myth of the androgynous in the Romanian literature«.

He works for Time Out Magazine and from 2006 to 2008 he was the editor of »Cuvantul«, a cultural review.

Teodor Dună has published two poetry books with Vinea Press in Bucharest, Cathaphasis in 2005 and The Train of 31 February in 2002. He held performances at the Romanian Cultural Institute in Berlin/Germany (2006) and in Vienna/Austria (2005).

He was given the second prize at the Romanian poetry competition »Prometheus« (2005) and the national prize »Mihai Eminescu« for The Train of 31 February in Botosani/Romania (2003).
