Stefan L. Wieszner

Born 1964 in Wilhelmshaven (Germany).

Study of philosophy, comparative literature, dramaturgy and cultural management in Munich, Vienna and Berlin.

Active as a theatre critic, actor, stage direction assistant, author, stage director and dramaturge at the Munich Kammerspiele, the Viennese Burgtheater, the Parisian Théatre Odéon de l’Europe, etc.

1994 founder and director of the Off-Theater Unter den Leichen, Berlin.

1996 recipient of a grant from Schloß Wiepersdorf.

1997 recipient of an artistsí grant from the State of France.

Author of theatre texts, prose and poetry.

1996-98 stage direction assistant at the Deutsches Theater of Berlin.
