Sándor Pál-Kovács is a poet, writer, and editor.

He has published five books to date, four poetry collections and one book of short stories. For his most recent book, Daloskönyv (Songbook), he received the Péter Horváth Fellowship. In 2021, he defended his doctoral thesis on the history of young Hungarian poetry during the Kádár era at the University of Szeged. He lives in Szentendre/Hungary and has been an author with Magvető Publishing since 2017. His poems have been translated into German, Romanian, Serbian, Slovenian, and Bulgarian.

Pál-Kovács was awarded the Péter Horváth Literary Grant in 2024, which is linked to a stay at the Akademie Schloss Solitude.
