Roberto Yanguas Gómez

Born 1983 in Logroño/Spain.

Roberto Yanguas Gómez studied law and European private law at the University of La Rioja, Logroño/Spain. After his studies, he was the head of the Spanish team in the project Digital Services for Consumers for the European Commission and member of the project Towards a Consumer Code in Spain and in the European Union. He worked as researcher at the University of La Rioja and as assistant researcher at the European Documentation Center at the University of La Rioja.

Roberto Yanguas Gómez has recently published the book Contratos de conexión a Internet, »hosting« y búsqueda, Thomson-Reuters Civitas, Madrid, 2012, 576 pp. He also published several articles, such as »Without the Shadow of the Wall«, in: Levante de Valencia; and »Crónica legislativa: El RD 899/2009, de 22 mayo«, in: Anuario de Derecho Civil. 

He received the FPU fellowship (universitary professor training) and was the winner of the European Young Journalist Award. In December 2011, Roberto Yanguas Gómez received his PdD in IT Law from the University of La Rioja. Currently, he is working as Jurist and European IT Law researcher.
