Q Takeki Maeda

Born in 1977 in Nagoya/Japan.

Studied at the Musashino University in Tokyo and at the Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Künste, Städelschule in Frankfurt a. Main.

Works as an artist (since 2001 in collaboration with Jay Chung).

Selected exhibitions: The opening (Andersen-s, Copenhagen, 2005), First Moscow Biennale (Moscow, 2004), “Utopia Station” (Haus der Kunst, Munich, 2004), “Always already passé” (Gavin Brown´s Enterprise, New York, 2004), “Hyper Style” (Loop Galerie, Berlin, 2004).

Jay Chung and Q Takeki Maeda received a residency fellowship from the IASPIS International Artist´s Studio Programme in Sweden (2005).
