Petrina Hicks

Born in Sydney.

Petrina Hicks studied communication and media studies at the University of Canberra/Australia. She works as an artist in Sydney.

Her work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions both in Australia and Internationally. Petrina Hicks has received numerous prizes and awards. Recently, she has won the ABN Amro Emerging Artist Awards and has been granted a residency at La Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris (both in 2008).
