Peter Noever

Born 1941.

Since 1986 director of the Museums für Angewandte Kunst (Museum for Applied Arts) in Vienna.

1988/89 guest professor for museum studies at the Hochschule für Angewandte Kunst (Academy for Applied Arts), Vienna.

1975 – 93 lecturer for design analysis at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste (Academy of Visual Arts), Vienna. 1986 he was appointed counsellor for the urban renewal project “Casa Calderon para artistas” in Havanna by the Cuban Ministry of Culture. Since 1971 land art projects for “Die Grube” in Breitenbrunn (Austria).

Numerous works in the fields of architecture and design.

Peter Noever was appointed Austrian commissioner for the 1996 Triannual in Milano. He lives in Vienna.
