Born 1984 in Parchim/Germany.
Michaela Stolte studied European media science in Potsdam, Berlin and Utrecht as well as dramaturgy in Frankfurt am Main. After several positions as trainee and assistant in Frankfurt, Basel and Berlin she was co-dramatic adviser in 2011 for Horror Vacui, a production by the directing duo Auftrag: Lorey at Schauspiel Frankfurt. She was responsible for dramaturgy of Bernhard Mikeska’s site specific works IN MY ROOM :: Die Geschichte von Julie, Gessnerallee Zürich, Zürich/Switzerland (2012) and DEPARTURE :: ZÜRICH HB, Gessnerallee Zürich (2013). A continuing collaboration connects Michaela Stolte closely with Sabine Born, Maria Isabel Hagen, Eleonora Herder and Falk Rößler.
In varying constellations they developed the sound performance 10 spannende Reiseziele, die einfacher zu erreichen sind, als sie glauben, Landungsbrücken Frankfurt, Frankfurt/Germany (2011), the site specific installation LULU. To all our Lovers, Gießen/Germany (2011), the scenic installation SITE OF FICTION – Eine Illusionsmaschinerie nach Motiven von E.T.A. Hoffmann, Frankfurt LAB, Hessisches Landestheater, Marburg/Germany (2013), Die kleine Freiheit – vielleicht, Mousonturm Frankfurt (2014) and wahrscheinlich weinen, Frankfurt LAB, Stadttheater Gießen (2014).
From season 2014/2015 on she will be dramatic adviser at the Württembergischen Landesbühne Esslingen/Germany.
