Michael Staab

Born in Esslingen, 1962.

First actor’s parts from 1982 to 1984.

From 1989 to 1992, he worked as a director and producer at the Freiburg municipal theatre. Then, he produced plays in Cologne, Nuremberg and Brunswick.

Since 1994, he has realized interactions and performances in the artistic field, among others: Alles ist wahr (Everything is true), interaction in the gallery Fricke, Dusseldorf, Aurora on the line: Theslas calling, Cyber-dance performance in the Kunstverein Cologne (both 1995). In 1996, an interaction involving150 participants took place in the Municipal Libarary Stuttgart: The infinite library by José Luis Borges.

In 1996, he received a grant by the Art Foundation Baden Wurttemberg
