Born in Milan, 1961.
He studied composition at the University of Natal, South Africa.
From 1985 to 1987, he was a scholar of Howard Skempton and received first commissions for composing chamber music.
From 1983 to 1987, he attended courses and lectures with Morton Feldman.
From 1986 to 1992, he played the bass guitar in a configuration with C. Newman and Janet Smith (experimental rock).
Since 1989, he has cooperated with dance companies, developing pieces for leading choreographers (among others:. Jonathan Burrows Group, Siobhan Davies Dance Company).
Since 1990, he has written film music for all films by Adam Roberts.
