Marwen Mohamed Abouda
Marwen Mohamed Abouda studied design at the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences et Technologies du Design in Tunis/Tunisia (2004/2005), followed by an upper diploma in design, specialized in scenography (2003–2008).
He has been working as scenographer for the theatre plays like L’auberge by Mohsen Adab (2005/2006), Couscous au lardon (2009/2010), Amour d’un loup by Mohsen Adab (2010) and Le Clown by Mahdi Mahfoudh (2010). He worked as chef-decorator for the short film Vers le nord by Youssef Chebbi, produced by Paprika Production (2010) and was lecturer at the Festival de Théâtre de Omar Khalfat at Tataouine/Tunisia (2012) and at the Association ACT-Kef et L’Union Européenne (2013). Furthermore he has been teacher at the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences et Technologies Du Design de Tunis at the design department since 2011. From 2010 to 2012 he was artistic director and scenographic designer for several exhibitions as part of Jackpot Production.
His recent projects include the conception of Identité Libre at the festival d’art pluridisciplinaire and the scenography for the performance Point Zéro by Imane Smaoui.
Marwen Mohamed Abouda is a fellow in the special program Africa in Solitude at Akademie Schloss Solitude.
