Marcela Quijano

Born in Colombia, 1954.

She has been living in Germany since 1972 and was trained as a goldsmith. She studied at the College of Arts HdK Berlin: Industrial Design (diploma).

Since 1983, she has worked as a free-lance designer. She has been receiving commissions for publications and exhibitions.

She has been a lecturer for the history of design at the College of Design in Schwäbisch Gmünd.

Since 1993, she has organized the archive of the former College of Design Ulm (with C. Wachsmann). In 1982, she cooperated in the comprehensive synopsis of the Ulm College of Design.
