Laércio Redondo

Born 1967 in Paranavaí/Brazil.

Studies of fine arts at the Alvares Penteado Foundation in São Paulo/Brazil and at the University College of Art, Crafts & Design in Stockholm/Sweden. Works and lives as an artist in Stockholm.

Group exhibitions include: Mostra Rio Arte Contemporânea, Museum of Modern Art, Rio de Janeiro/Brazil (2002), Materia Prima da Arte Brasileira, Oscar Niemeyer Museum, Curitiba/Brazil (2002), Arghh, Edsvik Konst & Kultur, Stockholm (2003). Recent solo exhibition: Listen to me, Espaco Cultural Sergio Porto, Rio de Janeiro (2002).

1993 Scholarship of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw/Poland, 2001 Scholarship of the Stockholm Academy of Art. He received the Award for Contemporary Art of the Museum of Modern Art Rio, de Janeiro (2002).
