Kai Linke

Born 1980 in Offenbach a.M./Germany.

Kai Linke is currently living and working in Frankfurt am Main/Germany. In 2001 he studied architecture at the Technische Universität in Darmstadt/Germany before he changed to the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Offenbach in 2002, where he studied product design. In 2005 he received a fellowship from the Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes. In 2008, he graduated from the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Offenbach in design.

One year later he founded STUDIO KAI LINKE. His activities include the designof objects for the public space, exhibitions and interior-objects as well as lights and furniture for international producers. In 2009 and 2010 he was nominated for the Designpreis der Bundesrepublik Deutschland.

His works were presented at several national and international exhibitions and fairs, including designmai Berlin/Germany (2005), MAK Vienna/Austria (2006), Frankfurter Kunstverein, Frankfurt/Germany (2008), Interieur Design Biennale Kortrijk/Belgium (2010) and Design Museum Holon in Tel Aviv/Israel (2011).
