Juna Suleiman is a Palestinian filmmaker living in Israel. She studied film at the Department of Film and Television of Tel Aviv University. In 2007, she released her first Documentary Bed & Breakfast, produced by I’lam Media Center. The film participated in various screenings and competitions and won a first prize in the Doc Aviv film festival, Tel Aviv. Aside from gaining expertise in the field by working in different departments for feature films, Juna worked in recent years as a casting director for notable features, amongst them Elia Suleiman’s The Time that Remains and Hani Abu-Asaad’s Omar. She is currently filming, directing, editing and producing her feature documentary Hiam (working title).
