Julia Warmers

Studied German literature, social sciences and history at the University of Essen.

From 2000-2003 she worked at the Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities of the science center of North Rhine-Westphalia in Essen for the research groups »Antinomien der postmodernen Vernunft (Antinomies of Postmodern Reason)«, »Lebensformen im Widerstreit (Life forms in Antagonism)« and »Erinnerung und Gedächtnis – interdisziplinäre Gedächtnisforschung (Recollection and Memory – Interdisciplinary Memory Research)«.

2003 publication of »Geldbewusstsein und Geldbildung von Mädchen unter besonderer Berücksichtigung des Lernfeldes Sozialwissenschaften in der Realschule« (Beiträge zur Wirtschaftsdidaktik und ökonomischen Bildung, No. 18).

2003-2005 scientific assistant for the research project »The Post-Communist Condition« headed by Prof. Dr. Boris Groys at the Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe.

During her fellowship at Solitude, Julia Warmers will coordinate upcoming art, science & business publications as well as several events.
