Born 1970 in Berlin.
Studied Architecture at the University of Kaiserslautern, Master in Advanced Architectural Design at Columbia University. Together with Innes Yates she founded the architecture office bnode (NY) in 2000. Bnode was created in an effort to explore new possibilities for architectural practice emerging through the advent of new digital technologies.
Building experiences: light design for L’Observatoire International (Big Max; Cartier shop 5th Avenue; Edison school, NY, 2000), penthouse in Greenwich Village (bnode, NY, 2001/02).
Selected exhibitions: multimedia installation (Filmwerkstatt Düsseldorf, 1996), exhibition of the competition entry for Europan 4 (NAI, Rotterdam, 1996), Academy of Fine Arts Düsseldorf (1997), “moodRingBaby” with bnode (Eyebeam Artist in Residence Exhibition, NY, 2002).
DAAD Postgraduate Grant (Columbia University). 3rd prize at the architecture/urban design competition “Place, Time, Symbol” (Ottawa, 2000).
