Jia Lyng Tang

Jia Lyng Tang studied architecture at the University of São Paulo/Brazil and at the Polytechnical University of Turin/Italy.

She works as an independent architect and designer and is a research associate at the University of São Paulo.

Research studies: cultural management and the economics of the creative/cultural sector.
Currently, Jia Lyng Tang is investigating the use of information and communication technology in prospective business models for media, culture and the arts.

She has been granted numerous fellowships, such as the fellowship of the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation of Development (2005) and a fellowship of the International Training Centre of the International Labor Organization (2008).
