Jasmina Hanf is a fifth-semester student of photojournalism and documentary photography at Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Germany. From 2015-2019, she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf and attended the Accademia Belle Arti Bologna, Italy, from 2017-2018 in the context of her studies. In 2011-2013, she was a participant at the Youth Academy of Performing Arts, part of the foundation proskenion Stiftung Lingen.
In 2020, in cooperation with Karolina Kaltschnee, she authored a report on the rigid abortion laws in Poland, which appeared in various publications in Switzerland (Tagesanzeiger magazine), Austria (Profil) and Germany (Tagesspiegel).
In 2021, she was awarded the Gabriel Gruener Fellowship, which she shares with Karolina Kaltschnee.
