Helga de la Motte

Born in Ludwigshafen (Germany).

Study of psychology and musicology, completion of doctorate.

Until 1972 free-lance collaboration with the Staatliches Institut für Musikforschung in Berlin.

Beginning in 1969 associate lecturer at the Technische Universität Berlin.

1971 habilitation in the field of systematic musicology.

1972-78 professor at the Pädagogische Hochschule Rheinland; since 1978 at the Technische Hochschule Berlin.
