Helena Bugallo

Born 1971 in Mar del Plata/Argentinia. Studied piano and music theory at SUNY, Buffalo. Teaching position at SUNY, Buffalo and at the National University of La Plata, Argentinia. Founding member of the Ognat Quartett and The Instrumental Factor, an ensemble for new music. Has performed since 1995 in the Bugallo-Williams Piano Duo with a repertoire of contemporary composers. Currently working on the complete piano works (solo and 4 hands) of the Mexican-American composer Conlon Nancarrow.
