Born 1974, lives and works in Stuttgart/Germany.
He received a diploma in Design from Merz Akademie – Hochschule für Gestaltung, Kunst und Medien, Stuttgart/Germany and a master of arts from the University of Portsmouth/Great Britain.
As artist he often moves between different disciplines, with a focus on natural sciences, astronomy and the exploration of outer space. These are also recurring topics in his artistic work, characterized by a mostly playful approach. Besides his own artistic work, he works as filmmaker for artists and as curator with artists.
Since 2001 he has been the founder and head of IAT (Institute of General Theory). His co-researchers Martin Maurer and Goran Zivadinovic were fellows of the same generation.
