Born 1952 in Bitche/France.
Gérard Haller studied literature and philosophy at Université de Strasbourg, Strasbourg/France. He worked as editor for the Council of Europe and for the Réunion des musées nationaux in Paris/France. In 1980, Gérard Haller founded the company Théâtre en hiver (Theater in Winter Time), for which he wrote and directed numerous plays.
His publications include: Deux dans la nuit (Two at Night), Galilée (2010); continue (Continued), Centre de création contemporaine 2angles, Flers/France (2010; L’invitation au partage (Sharing the Invitation), in: OVNI n°1, Le Quartanier, Québec/Canada (2008); Fini Mére (Done Mother), Galilée (2007). He received, among others, the Prix Henri Mondor de l’Académie Française for Metéoriques, published by Seghers (2001).
