Born 1961 in Rheinfelden (Germany).
Gabriele Langendorf received training as a textile pattern designer in Lörrach. From 1982 until 1986 she studied painting with Franz Fediér at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Basel. From 1989 until 1991 she was a guest student at the Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Künste (Städelschule) in Frankfurt/M. with Raimer Jochims.
Since 2003 she taught drawing at the Gutenbergschule (Fachoberschule Gestaltung) in Frankfurt/M. Since 2006 Langendorf is a professor of painting and drawing at the Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar in Saarbrücken.
