Frédéric Moser

Born 1966 in Saint-Imier.

Frederic Moser has been working together with Philippe Schwinger since 1988, first as theater directors, then as visual artists.

Their artistic works were shown in numerous group exhibitions and festivals:,Another Swiss Panorama, Centre pour l’image contemporaine, Geneva (1999), No vacancies, international video exhibition, Berlin (2000), Screening, Artjunky, London (2000), VideoROM, Valencia Biennal (2001) and Art 32 Basel (Galerie Skopia, 2001). Their work has been shown in several solo exhibitions including: “Auf den Höhen” (Museum zu Allerheiligen, Kunstverein, Schaffhausen, 1999), “Dose miracle” (Musée des beaux-arts, La Chaux-de-Fonds, 2000), “Affection riposte” (Centre pour l’image contemporaine, Geneva, 2001) and “embrigadés” (Galerie Skopia, Geneva, 2001).

Grants and prizes include: videOst working grant in Frauenfeld (1997), city of Geneva grant in the “Usine” (2001-03), Providentia prize “Young Art” (2000) and Swiss Federal Prize of Fine Arts (Prix fédéral des beaux-arts, 1998, 1999, 2000).
