Franziska Ratajczak

Franziska Ratajczak studied art history, philosophy and political sciences at Freie Universität Berlin/Germany where she also completed her master studies in art history. Subsequently she started her master studies in art history at Freie Universität Berlin. She was an intern at Alte Nationalgalerie in Berlin and at Deutsches Historisches Museum in Berlin from 2012 to 2013.

From 2012 to 2013, she was an intern at Alte Nationalgalerie der Staatlichen Museen zu Berlin and at Deutsches Historisches Museum in Berlin.

After an Erasmus fellowship at Vrijen Universiteit Amsterdam/Netherlands, she worked as student-assistant at the Art History Institute of the Max Planck Society in Florence/Italy. Also as student-assistant, she worked on the categorisation of visual media at Interdisziplinäres Labor Bild Wissen Gestaltung in the basic project Attention & Form of Humboldt Universität zu Berlin from 2014 to 2016.

​Recently, she has been working for the project Epistemische Rückseite instrumenteller Bilder at Zentrum für Literatur- und Kulturforschung in Berlin. The project examines instrumental images, used by human actors as tools in fundamental research, therapy, and medical practice referring to the hidden knowledge which is removed from daily practice.
