Ewa Borysewicz graduated from Kraków Academy of Fine Arts (Faculty of Graphic Arts) in 2009. Her graduation animated film »Who would have thought?« has been acclaimed both by audience and critics and received important festival awards in Poland and abroad (Special Golden Jabberwocky in Krakow/Poland, Jantar Prize at the »Young and Cinema« festival in Koszalin/Poland). At the beginning of 2012 she took part in an animation-artist-in-residence program in Tokyo/Japan, organized by the Agency for Cultural Affairs of Japan and JAPIC. She also created spots commissioned by the Polish public TV channel »Kultura« promoting good manners among soccer fans during UEFA Euro 2012. Ewa Borysewicz lives and works in Krakow.
Ewa Borysewicz is a participant of the exchange program between Akademie Schloss Solitude and the Center for Contemporary Art, Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw.
