Eric Lanz

Born 1962 in Biel, Switzerland. He studied at the Ecole Supérieure d´Art Visuel, Geneva (Prof. Defraoui) and at the Art Academy Düsseldorf (Prof. Paik).

Grants: Swiss Art Scholarship 1985/86; Siemens grant at the Institute of Image Media, Center for Art and Media, Karlsruhe 1994.

Awarded with the Prix Boris Oumansky 1989 and the Prix Breguet d´Art Contemporain 1993.

In recent years he has realized the work groups Les mains (monitor loops), Les gestes (projector loops) and Les habits (monitor and projector installations).
