Gabriel Mateu: Born 1962 in Buenos Aires. Studied design at Panamerican School of Arts. 1988-1999 professor of graphic design at Buenos Aires University.
Anabella Salem: Born 1968 in Buenos Aires. Studied design at Buenos Aires University. 1992-1999 professor of graphic design and from 1993-1995 professor of semiology.
In 1993 they founded the design studio El Fantasma de Heredia that works exclusively on design projects for cultural, social and political causes.
Participation in numerous competitions, including: Festival d’Affiches de Chaumont, France 1998; 17th International Poster Biennial, Warsaw 2000; 13th Lahti Poster Biennial, Finland 2001 and Hong Kong International Poster Triennial 2001.
