Born 1971 in Oxford/Great Britain.
1990 to 1994 studies in film at the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University.
Works as artistic co-director for the multidisciplinary performance group WaxFactory in New York since 1998. He has produced following projects: “Moliere’s Monster” (Ohio Theater, New York City, 2001), “Quartet v 2.0” (Festivals in Split, Dubrovnik/Croatia, Milano/Italy and Sarajevo/Bosnia, 2002/03), “Le jardin aveugle” (Festivals in Schwerte/Germany, Ljubljana/Slovenia, Arras/France, 2004). The following projects are planned for 2005: “…she said” (Cankarjev Dom, Ljubljana/Slovenia) and “Island: Simulation 1” (La Ferme de la Colle/France).
Dion Doulis was given a Trustee Fellowship by the Tisch School of the Arts and was awarded with excellence in cinematography at The First Run Film Festival in New York.
