Deborah Wargon

Born 1962 in Melbourne, Australia.

1983 Diploma in Music, Victorian College of the Arts
1999 MA in Scenography with distinction, St. Martins London & Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, Utrecht, Netherlands.
Stays and continuing studies in Tel Aviv and London.

She has performed as a violinist for various orchesters in Australia, including the Rantos Collegium, State Orchestra of Victoria, Australian Pops Orchestra and Vortex.

As a composer she wrote music for several productions at the Grant Street Theatre in Melbourne.

Since 1989 she has worked at various German and Austrian theaters, including Theater am Goetheplatz in Bremen, Theater des Westens in Berlin, Kölner Schauspiel, Staatsoper Hamburg, Volkstheater Wien, Staatstheater Stuttgart, Thalia Theater Hamburg, Dojo Theater Bern.

Since 2002 exhibitions in Berlin, London and San Francisco.
