Born 1987 in Braunau am Inn/Austria.

David Frühauf studied literary writing in Vienna and Leipzig as well as modern German literature in Berlin.

In 2016 his play Zeit der Wirren was premiered at the Voralberger Landestheater in Bregenz and he received the DramatikerInnenstipendium of the BKA Austria. Besides his dramatic writing, he translates poetry (i.a. Keith Waldrop: Gravitationen. Published in summer 2017).

David Frühauf is currently living and working in Berlin.
