Born in Chateaubriand/France in 1964.
He was trained at the Centre de Formation des Journalistes in Paris/France. As an art critc, he worked for the Beaux Art Magazine from 1991 to 1994, at present he writes for Photographies Magazine.
Before, he worked as an editor for Zoom-Zoum (1993).
He has translated works from the English and the American, among others: Lawrence Sterne, Peter Greenaway, Andrew Levy. In 1994 Six Aléas (Temps, suite et tant) was published, followed one year later by the novel L’anthropologue published by Éditions Comp’Act.
In 2011, Christophe Marchand-Kiss gained the Jean-Jacques-Rousseau fellowship.
