Born 1972 in Osaka/Japan.
Studied at the Art School of the Kyoto Seika University, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Braunschweig and at the Academy of Arts (HdK) in Berlin.
Numerous solo exhibitions, including: “Bathroom & Bondage” (ARCO, Madrid; Stadtforum Munich), “Dialogue from DNA” (Pruess & Ochs Gallery, Berlin) and “From Memory to Memory” (Kunsthaus Tacheles, Berlin, 1997).
Selected group exhibitions: “Die Welt aus der Sicht von…” (Odapark Holland, Netherlands, 2001), “Exit 2001” (Maison des Arts de Créteil, Paris, 2001) and “Continental Shift” (Ludwig Forum für Internationale Kunst, Aachen, 2000).
1992 Japanese Government scholarship. 2000 Dorothea von Stetten art prize.
