Born 1986 in Munich/Germany.

Carmen Raffaela Küster studied product design and visual communication at the Free University of Bozen, Bolzano/Italy, design and graphics at the École Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne, Lausanne/Switzerland and stage artistry/stage acrobatics at DIE ETAGE – Schule für die Darstellenden Künste in Berlin/Germany. Carmen Raffaela Küster works as a designer and as artist/acrobat and the combination of her two passions leads her to a composition of conceptual design and artistic performance.

Her projects include: Rock’n’Relax, swing furniture, in the context of Homo Sedens, Runkelstein Castle in Bolzano/Italy (2010); Attimo Sospeso (typo)graphical installation in the context of FuoriSalone, Monastery San Simpliciano, Milan/Italy (2009) and Wild Thing, Solo, 2nd International Circus Festival Düsseldorf/Germany (2010). Furthermore, Carmen Raffaela Küster received an Erasmus scholarship at École Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne.
