Carmen Kovacs

Carmen Kovacs studied music theater studies at the University of Bayreuth and performance studies at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. She completed her master’s degree with a focus in dance. After that she worked as a journalist for journals, magazines and program books, ia. for the »Süddeutsche Zeitung«, the »Münchner Feuilleton«, »tanz«, and »crescendo«, for the DANCE Festival Munich and the Bavarian State Opera. In 2016 she began studying art at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich in the class of Olaf Nicolai. Since 2018, Kovacs has been the dramaturg of the Bavarian State Ballet in Munich.
