Barbara Büscher

Barbara Büscher studied media science and theatre studies. She works as a freelance publicist and teaches at various Universities in Bochum, Wuppertal, Leipzig and Witten-Herdecke. She is presently a professor for media dramaturgy at the University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig. Many publications in the field of media art and media theory, the history of performance and performance theory and the intersection of performance and new techniques. She is co-editor of the yearly published magazine “Kaleidoskopien”.
