Born 1960 in Oxford (United Kingdom).
She completed her studies of philosophy and comparative literature in Berlin, Paris and Strasbourg, with a thesis in philosophy on the question of heroism in modernity. She was lecturer in philosophy and literature in several art schools and universities including the University of Strasbourg, Ecole des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg, Albert-Ludwig University in Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany). Currently, she is assistant professor in aesthetics at the University of Metz (France).
She has compiled numerous catalogues and articles both in France and Germany and translated texts of German critical theory into French. Her first book “Nietzsche les aventures de l’héroïsme” was published in 2000 in the Critical Collection of Politics, Paris.
Currently she is completing a book on the implications of gesture in art and politics.
