Born 1975 in Freital (Saxony).
From 1993 to 1999 Antje Kalus studied architecture at the Technical University of Dresden (engineering diploma). After her studies she worked for Christoph Mäckler Architekten in Frankfurt/Main for two years.
After having worked as a stage design assistant for at the Berlin Kammeroper (Chamber Opera) in 2001, Antje Kalus started studying fashion design at the University of Arts Berlin-Weissensee in October of the same year. After her degree in 2007 (design diploma) she was a master student with Patrick Rietz at the same university.
During her studies at the University of Arts Berlin-Weissensee she also worked for nps-tchoban-voss-architekten in Berlin.
For her diploma thesis Antje Kalus was awarded the Mart Stam Prize in 2007. As part of this award she took part in an exhibition at the art space Kreuzberg/Bethanien in May 2008. Antje Kalus lives and works as an architect and designer in Berlin.
