Annette Schlünz

Born 1964 in Dessau.

Study of composition and piano at the Hochschule für Musik in Dresden and subsequent study of conducting with Rudolf Neuhaus.

Teaching assignment at the Hochschule für Musik, Dresden; master class pupil of Paul-Heinz Dittrich at the Akademie der Künste in Berlin.

Composition commissions for the SWF series “Ars nova”, the Conservatory of Abbeville, the Festivalensemble Heidelberg, the Deutscher Musikrat, etc.

Recipient of various grants, including: Working Grant of the Elektro-Akustisches Studio of the Akademie der Künste in Berlin, Internationale Ferienkurse Darmstadt and the Deutsche Akademie Villa Massimo in Rome.
