Anne Köhler studied architecture and art history in Berlin/Germany and subsequently cultural studies and creative writing in Hildesheim/Germany.
Her first book Nichts werden macht auch viel Arbeit – mein Leben in Nebenjobs (Not Doing Anything Is also a Lot of Work – My Life in Side Jobs) was published by DuMont in 2010. Furthermore, she has published texts in various newspapers, magazines, and anthologies, among others: Süddeutsche Zeitung (jetzt.de), Edit, BELLA triste, Macondo, dare.
Anne Köhler received various prizes and fellowships, such as a scholarship of the Berliner Senat as well as fellowships at the Stuttgarter Schriftstellerhaus, and further ones in Romania, Krakow/Poland, and at Kloster Cismar at the Baltic Sea in Germany.
Anna Köhler lives and works in Berlin.
