Born 1975 in Reggio Emilia/Italy.
He graduated from the Bologna Fine Arts Academy in 2001 and attended the Wimbledon School of Arts in London for video and installation in 2001.
In 2003 he founded Cubificio.org, a website as collaboration platform and science/art laboratory.
Recent projects: »La Giovine Italia«, Nationalpinakothek, Bologna/Italy (2007), »On the Edge of Vision«, Victoria Memorial Hall, Calcutta/National Gallery of Modern Art of New Delhi/National Gallery of Modern Art of Mumbai/Italian Institute of Culture, in Second Life/Ficci Frames 2007, Mumbai (all 2007); RESPICE, ADSPICE, PROSPICE (solo exhibition in the Charité, Berlin (2006); “LIVE with Placard Project” (during the Club Transmediale in the Maria Club, Berlin (2005); “Unwetter_discoursive campus” (sound event for the Liverpool Biennale, shown in various spaces throughout the United Kingdom, and at the Rooseum and various locations in Malmö/Sweden (2004); installation and lecture on cloning and stem cells for the ESOF (European Scientific Open Forum, Stockholm, Manchester, Bologna) at the Fondazione Golinelli, Learning Centre, Bologna/Italy, 2004.
2003 Corso Superiore Arti Visive (CSAV) fellowship of the Antonio Ratti Foundation (Como/Italy) and 2003 Axel Springer Studio Grant (Berlin).
