Aliénor Dauchez works as director and visual artist in Berlin/Germany. She studied urban system engineering as well as visual arts with Gregor Schneider and Giuseppe Penone in Paris/France and Berlin. She gained experience in music theater as assistant of Anna Viebrock, Sasha Waltz and Heiner Goebbels and as a fellow of Deutsche Bank Stiftung in the course of the program Akademie Musiktheater heute.
Her performances and objects have been displayed at the St. Petersburg Museum of Contemporary Art, Russia, at Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art, Russia, at Haus am Kleistpark in Berlin, and Couvent Sainte-Marie de La Tourette in Éveux/France. After her lengthy collaboration with ensemble Kaleidoskop she began staging for other ensembles such as Zafraan Ensemble, Il Profondo or Musikfabrik.
Her pieces Démesure, Votre Faust by Henri Pousseur, Hiérophanie by Claude Vivier, and Hardcore oder XI – ein Polytop for Iannis Xenakis were shown at Radialsystem V – Space for Arts and Ideas in Berlin, in Theater Basel, Switzerland, as well as at Harpa in Reykjavik/Island, in Concertgebouw Brügge, Belgium, im Centre Pierre-Péladeau in Montreal/Canada, and at Lisinski in Zagreb/Croatia.
Her visual artworks have been awarded by Stiftung Ursula Hanke-Förster and Stiftung Ulich und Burga Knispel, as well as an Elsa-Neumann-Stipendium.
