The fellows of »Be Mobile – Create Together!« have been revealed

The candidates for »Be Mobile – Create Together!« have been elected!

The jury consisting of 12 representatives from collaborating residencies and partner institutions revealed the list of final laureates entitled to participate in »Be Mobile – Create Together!« following their final meeting on 24-25th June 2019. The jury distributed the artists between residencies for periodic stays considering their preferences and areas of interest. Starting from September 2019, selected artists from Turkey will visit residencies in Europe while artists in France, Germany and The Netherlands will stay and work in residencies in Turkey in varying periods.

Within the framework of »Be Mobile – Create Together!«, Akademie Schloss Solitude will be welcoming Kuzey Topuz. She will be staying with us from January to May 2020.

»Led by the Institut français de Turquie, the Embassy of the Netherlands in Ankara, the Goethe-Institut and the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV), the project Be Mobile-Create Together! seeks to promote artistic and cultural exchanges between Europe and Turkey through the establishment of a multi-national and multi-disciplinary network of artist residencies. Whilst stimulating young talents, the project aims to foster the development of durable ties between art scenes in Turkey and Europe.«
