Maren Kames receives Jahresstipendium für Literatur 2016

Young author Maren Kames receives the Jahresstipendium für Literatur 2016 des Landes Baden-Württemberg (One year fellowship for literature 2016 of the State of Baden-Württemberg). With her debut Halb Taube halb Pfau (half pigeon half peacock), which was published this fall by Secession Verlag, she was able to convince the jury. She has managed to write a »willful impressing debut«, the expert jury justified its decision. In the coming year Maren Kames will present her work in several readings, for example at Literaturhaus Stuttgart in cooperation with Akademie Schloss Solitude.
