Fanzine for the first exhibition of the »Horizons« series

As part of the new exhibition series »Horizons«, Akademie Schloss Solitude has been showing current works by fellows from the Akademie’s Eastern European Network in an ever- changing exhibition over the past few months.

The focus was on the idea of making artistic creative processes visible, an objective which has now been achieved in a slightly different way in the form of a fanzine accompanying the exhibition.

Designed and produced by two of the participating fellows, Krasimira Butseva and Luana Lojić, the fanzine presents a collection of impressions of the works featured in the exhibition from an artistic perspective: A combination of conceptual sketches, excerpts from research processes and photo collages emphasizes the exhibition’s progressive nature and reveals further insights into its production and curation which usually remain unseen.
The fanzine concludes with a retrospective text contribution by curator Gloria Aino Grzywatz.

Fellows Anca Benera & Arnold Estefán, András Blazsek, Barbara Gryka, Jasmina Hanf & Karolina Kaltschnee also participated in the exhibition and the fanzine.
