»Das Festival« by Herbordt/Mohren with participation of the »Solitude Network«

Akademie Schloss Solitude is a place where you can build lifelong relationships. The »Solitude Network« grows from day to day and brings people from all over the world together. These conditions are the basis for a global exchange and diverse cooperations between fellows and guests.

One outstanding example is the performance Das Festival produced by Herbordt/Mohren, former fellows in 2009/2010. For the upcoming numerous activities of the fictitious festival, they have worked together with five other former fellows of Akademie Schloss Solitude. The compositions come from Bill Dietz (music/sound 2012/2013) and Hanna Eimermacher (2009) among others, the graphic design comes from Demian Bern (design 2010/2011), responsible for video documentation is Hagen Betzwieser (design 2005–2007), and one of the contributing artists is Neto Machado (performing arts 2012–2014). More names can be found in the program of Das Festival who relate to the »Solitude Network« as friends and guests.

The »Solitude Network« stays productive through longterm, transdisciplinary exchanges of ideas, which become visible in projects like Das Festival.

Das Festival has been realized in cooperation with Donaueschinger Musiktage 2019 and Theater Rampe in Stuttgart. The fictitious festival invites visitors to participate in the permanently changing program depending on the context. From October 31th to November 2nd 2019 Das Festival is staged at Theater Rampe in Stuttgart.
